Marc Yap (34; Cat 1) - Marc is my partner in the DET endeavor and perfect for his role as ultimate teammate, faceman, and big brother. He's got his hands full with a new family, but will be doing a handful of races and managing some behind the scenes stuff. When Marc clips in he always makes it count and it never goes unnoticed.
Chris Daggs (35; Cat 1) - A bike racer to the core, I love the bike and I'll always race. I am planning on a few more seasons in the Pro/1/2 ranks and want to share my passion and experience with the young ones. DET is a lot of work, but there is nothing more satisfying than positively impacting the lives of young people.
Skyler Bishop (25; Cat 1) - Sky is our crafty ex-pro. Like all of us Sky has a passion for racing and wasn't ready to retire after the 2007 season. 2008 was a transition year for Sky, but he used all the skills and speed from his pro days to grab some great results. He's lookin good for 2009.
Jose Quintero (33; Cat 1) - Jose guides the way by reminding us why we race and ride. "I love riding my bike." Jose had an awesome 2008 and was our DET Mentor of the Year. Jose posted some of his best personal results while setting a shining example for the young ones. As well, Jose was not afraid to tell the youngsters what to do which is what DET is all about.
Zack Simkover (24; Cat 2) - Zack is why the DET was created. Zack has the passion for racing and the talent to back it up. He's taken advantage of the opportunities DET has offered and run with them. Zack racked up a big race win in Ojai at the Garrett Lemire Memorial GP and scored more results throughout the season. He's on track to get his Cat 1 and join the big boys.
Next up: the New Guys.
Chris
